This is an ongoing body of work. Simply, I use both found and constructed objects as substrates for paint.  By "painting" the object I aim to sometimes obliterate yet hope to complicate the object's identity as a signifier. Here, the paint itself also becomes an object relaying orientation, volume, duration, and action. The object is then concealed behind a mask of color and fluid texture in an effort to draw attention away from, and to, that which the object originally intended.
